Q. How does the Envy electronic cigarette work?
A. Envy electronic cigarettes have three parts: a battery, an atomizer, and a cartridge. When you puff on Envy, a sensor recognizes the air flow and then the battery powers the atomizer. The atomizer then converts the liquid in the cartridge into a water-based vapor that you inhale and exhale. Another great feature is that you only use what you want. Unlike traditional cigarettes, Envy electronic cigarettes are turned on when you start puffing on it and then turn off when you stop puffing. So now, instead of smoking a whole traditional cigarette—or worse: stubbing one out and then trying to choke down the bad taste later—you now can take a couple of puffs and then throw it in your pocket until you need it again. It’s that easy.
Q. Who should use Envy electronic cigarettes?

Q. What is the difference between a traditional cigarettes and electronic cigarettes?
A. Traditional cigarettes have and burn tobacco, which creates TAR and all the negative side effects. Electronic cigarettes have no tobacco and require no ignition (or fire). Instead, an e-cig simply is a nicotine delivery system. Nicotine by itself, although extremely addictive, is found in vegetables you probably consume every day.
Q. What do electronic cigarettes taste and smell like?
A. The Envy cartridges have 5 flavor options. The only smell, usually none, is in the vapor—which disappears immediately.
Q. Where can I get the replacement cartridges?
A. Right here, on this site. We do not have a list of retailers, so we cannot tell you if a retailer is near you. If you have a tobacco shop, convenience store, or grocery store that you frequent, then ask the manager to carry Envy Electronic Cigarettes.
Q. May I buy extra batteries or other accessories?
A. Our electronic cigarette accessories page has several useful items at affordable prices.
Q. How long will the battery and atomizer last?
A. Both have a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty, but both should last about 2 years depending on usage.
Q. How long do the cartridges last?
A. The Envy cartridges should last about a day for the average smoker and is equivalent to about a pack of cigarettes.
Q. How do I know when to change the battery?
A. The green LED light at the tip will blink several times.
Q. How long does a battery’s charge last?
A. The Envy batteries should last about a day for the average smoker or about the time it takes to use a full cartridge.
Q. How long does it take to charge the battery?
A. The Envy batteries should be fully charged in 3-5 hours. We suggest you charge the batteries each night.
Q. Does it cost less than smoking traditional cigarettes?
A. Yes, Envy electronic cigarettes will save you money. The amount of money saved is determined by the area you are in and the price you pay for a pack of traditional cigarettes. For example: if you are a pack a day smoker and a pack of traditional cigarettes costs you $4, then e cigarettes—costing $2.5 per cartridge—will save you over $500 per year (not including all the money spent on lighters). So just imagine the savings when you’re paying $6, $9, or even $12 per pack. Start saving money today.
Q. What is the “Smoke”?
A. The “smoke” is a water-based vapor that evaporates into the air within seconds, leaving no smell. Yes, this means no more: smelly clothes, house, car, and everything else; no more ashtray breath; no second hand smoke.
Q. May electronic cigarettes be used anywhere?
A. No Tobacco + No Flame = No Smoking Ban.
That being said, some businesses will say you cannot use the e cig. Businesses have the right to refuse service.

Q. Can I use E-liquid?
A. The use of e-liquid voids the warranty.
Q. Is there a warranty?
A. Each starter kit comes with a 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty on the e cig battery and atomizer. Just send an email to: Warranty@EnvyCig.com . Explain the issue and we will work to resolve the situation immediately. The warranty only covers mechanical defects created through the manufacturing process. The warranty does not cover any other defects created post sale. The warranty is voided when parts are not used properly (this includes the use of e-liquid).
Q. May I return a defective unit to the retail store I purchased it?
A. The warranty will be fulfilled by the manufacturer, NOT the retail store. Do not return to the retail store.
Q. Refunds?
A. We offer a very good warranty and will take great care to replace any defective part immediately, but we do not offer refunds.
Q. What are the ingredients in the cartridges?
A. Nicotine (High - 18mg, Medium – 14mg, No – 0mg), Propylene Glycol. Flavoring.
Q. What is the shelf-life of a sealed cartridge?
A. If stored in a cool place, the shelf-life can be over a year.
Q. Does nicotine cause cancer?
A. It is widely believed by most medical professionals that nicotine does not by itself cause cancer.
Q. Do E-cigs taste the same as traditional cigarettes?
A. Most users of electronic cigarettes say the taste is similar but better than a regular cigarette.
Q. What will happen to E-cigarettes now that the FDA is regulating tobacco?
A. Because e cigs can use nicotine derived from plants and from other sources other than tobacco, and because currently the electronic cigarette is not classified in the tobacco family, the classification falls into a gray area and will not be affected by the new Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.
Q. Will the new FDA laws apply to e-cigarette flavors?
A. It is currently unknown how these laws will affect electronic cigarettes. However, if the FDA requires the flavors to be discontinued, they will not be available from Envy.
Q. May I use electronic cigarettes if I am under the legal age to smoke in my state?
A. No, if you cannot legally buy cigarettes in your state, then you may not purchase Envy electronic cigarettes.
Q. May pregnant women use electronic cigarettes?
A. NO. If you are pregnant, do not use this or any other product containing nicotine.
Q. Should I consult with my doctor before using electronic cigarettes?
A. Yes. If you have any medical condition, you should consult with your doctor before using this or any other electronic cigar.
Q. Are electronic cigarettes approved for Nicotine Replacement Therapy?
A. No. Envy electronic cigarettes are not approved for Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
Q. Are electronic cigarettes approved by the FDA and/or the TTB?
A. No. The FDA has not approved the use of electronic cigarettes. However, the FDA nor the TTB has prohibited the use of e cigs.
Q. Are electronic cigarettes an approved smoking cessation device?
A. NO. Envy electronic cigarettes are not approved smoking cessation
Q. Are 2008 parts (atomizer/usb/battery) compatible with 2010 parts(atomizer/usb/battery)?
A. NO. The parts are not compatible, but this only applies to those specific parts. Both 2008 and 2010 parts are compatible with the cartridges as well as the car and wall chargers.
